I can get really excited about vintage French posters. This weekend I came across this booth at the Main Street Antique Show in Hendersonville, NC. South Pointe Gallery, out of Key West, acquires their pieces in fabulous condition from auctions and estates. All I had was my phone so I snapped a few phone pics (please excuse the low resolution).

Wedding Letterpress
This weekend my cousin married a fabulous guy. To commemorate the date I created this letterpress print using wood block type and a rainbow roll in her wedding colors. Congratulations Ivy and Trevor. I love you guys!

Roadside Projects
I first came across Jayme McGowan when seeking inspiration for my own papercut illustrations. Whereas my pieces are monochromatic, McGowan's work is colorful, free and full of whimsy. Check out her blog, Roadside Projects.
Today I stumbled into Poketo, who carries her art in the form of wallets. I love the one below!

Flea Market Finds
This Wednesday friends and I spent the morning at the Pickens County Flea Market. There were plenty of treasures to be had, but I just brought home two vintage postcards. I hope to share those in a later post, but for now enjoy this typography. These numerals came from a car lot. I wasn't ready to buy, but enjoyed snapping these images on my phone.
